Jurassic World: Dominion is one of the most depressing films I've seen this season, and I've seen my fair share of bad films as film critic. The Jurassic World: Dominion, the third entry in the Jurassic World trilogy, and the sixth film in Jurassic Park as a series did not live up to the expectations. The film's inevitable inability to impress was clear immediately.
Jurassic World, Dominion tells the exciting story of dinosaurs, a feared species that eventually will take over the planet. Instead of embracing the concept and expanding the idea, the film keeps it simple by restricting the dinosaurs to a small park. This is only one of the many flaws that the movie has to offer.
One of the biggest problems in the film is its failure to live up to the standards set by Jurassic World, Dominion. Fans were promised not only an enjoyable conclusion to the Jurassic World series, but huge improvements, as well. In addition, the film was promoted as the best conclusion of the trilogy. Many viewers felt let down and disillusioned because the film fell short of the standards established by its marketing.
Jurassic World's Dominion has a dull and complex storyline that doesn't make sense. This is because it tries to incorporate all characters from the prior films. The story is presented poorly and inconsistently and the historical characters are reduced to nothing. The story is at a crucial point. You'll wonder what the movie is about by the end of the run time.
Jurassic World: Dominion attempts to keep its viewers entertained by synchronizing two boring and unrelated plotlines. It fails spectacularly. Although it is obvious that there's a Stegosaurus it is difficult for the film to ignore it all the way through the film, leaving the viewers wondering what the reason for it being included in the first place.
In all view the pages honesty, while Jurassic World: Dominion may be a step up from the widely derided Jurassic Park III, that's hardly ringing acclaim. Given the series' poor track record in delivering compelling stories, it could be the most unreliable. Jurassic World's Dominion is a waste of time and a awful wasted time. It's disappointing for long-time and new fans of the series, and is a clear evidence that the Jurassic Park movies should have been put on hold years ago.
If you are someone who is a Jurassic Park fan, this film isn't for your. Instead, it's best to watch the original Jurassic Park film again, since it's generally believed that it's the best of the bunch.
